Girl Scouts, Wild Weather, and a Weekend to Remember🏕️✨

My Weekend Camping Adventure!!

It all started with a weekend camping trip where four different sister troops came together. When I arrived, we unpacked and set up our tent. The day was beautiful—the sun was shining, and a gentle breeze made everything feel perfect. As more troops arrived, the campsite buzzed with excitement.

I remember making dinner on Friday—Alfredo pasta with chicken and veggies. It was so much fun cooking together. Afterward, we set up a small campfire 🔥 and sang classic camp songs. Everyone joined in—clapping, laughing, and singing along.

One of my favorite parts was sharing our camp names. I shared that my camp name is Daisy 🌼, because Juliette Gordon Low, the founder of the Girl Scouts, was also called Daisy. I learned this on a special trip to Savannah, Georgia, and it meant a lot to me. Hearing everyone’s stories helped us bond, even though we were all from different troops. By the end of the night, we felt like one big family.

That night, all the girls slept in one big tent, making it even more special. We laughed, talked, and enjoyed being together before falling asleep.

The next morning, one of our troop leaders woke us up:
“Girls, girls! Come on, wake up!”

We got ready for breakfast—French toast, which was absolutely delicious. But soon, dark clouds rolled in, followed by flashes of lightning and thunder. We quickly rushed to our cars for safety and waited for the storm to pass. Thankfully, nothing serious happened, and once the skies cleared, we were able to continue with our day.

Then came the rain again. We rushed to keep our things dry and put on our jackets. The weather app said heavy rain would last six hours, so half the troops went home. But my sister troop and I stayed. It turns out the app was wrong and we had overreacted a little.

We made sure the food and supplies were under a canopy. Once the rain stopped, a few hours later, the sky cleared and looked beautiful. We earned badges and went on an amazing scavenger hunt, spotting trees—some even smelled like vanilla!

For lunch, we made hamburgers, and for dinner, walking tacos. I felt full and happy, ready for another fun night. Before bed, we took pictures of the sunset and gathered around the campfire 🔥 again. We sang songs, told stories, and laughed late into the night. That night, we slept peacefully, grateful for the time together.

The next morning, we woke early to watch the stunning sunrise. Birds chirped as the sun rose over the trees. Afterward, my troop leader (my mom) and I made breakfast: avocado toast. It was so good! Once everyone ate and the cars were packed, it was time to leave.

This trip was truly awesome, and I would love to do it all over again. 🌟✨❤️
